Great to meet with some of our incredible local GPs and Practices on Wednesday after writing to them all across Redcar & Cleveland to hear firsthand about the challenges they’re facing after years of underfunding and neglect. 🏥

I meant it when I said we’d get the NHS back on its feet – and that starts with supporting our hardworking GPs and the vital services they provide to our communities here in Redcar and Cleveland. ❤️

I’ve heard their concerns loud and clear, and I’ll be working closely with Wes and the Regional Care Board to ensure primary care is properly supported and that patients get the best possible care. ✅
