Missing Home: Redcar's Sunrise Brings a Smile to Westminster

Today is a sitting Friday in Parliament, where we’re discussing private members’ bills, much like the one I previously worked on regarding animal cruelty.

While these days in Westminster are always important, I can’t help but miss home.

This morning, my team sent me some beautiful photos of Redcar at sunrise, and they’ve brought a little bit of home to my day here in Parliament. There really is nowhere quite like our stunning coastline to start the day.

Later today, I’m looking forward to catching up with constituents during my online surgeries. It’s always a privilege to hear from you and to work together on the issues that matter most to our community.
