What a day!

It was really wonderful to meet and greet Their Majesties the King and Queen in Middlesbrough today together with some fantastic local community groups and charities!

The sun was shining and they really enjoyed a sing-along with the North East Opera and playing table tennis with young people at the international community centre. It was a privilege to chat to His Majesty about the amazing community spirit we have on Teesside and all the potential we have for jobs and growth in the future sustainable industrial renaissance that we will see here. He passed on his wishes to all the people of Redcar and Cleveland and promised he’d be back soon.

It was great to welcome them both and see Middlesbrough at its best. ❤️☀️
